HICKORY ALIVE RETURNS JUNE 6, 2008!
The Hickory Jaycees in cooperation with Downtown Development Association will again present Hickory Alive in Downtown Hickory.
The hours for all of the concerts are from 7pm to 10pm on Union Square.
These concerts are an evening of outdoor fun for singles, couples, families....everyone!
These events are usually attended by 1,000 to 2,500 persons each week.
Adult beverages from United Beverage will be sold to produce the profits
that are contributed to local charities.
Sodas are available for children and those who wish non-alcoholic beverages.
In addition to the downtown restaurants which will be open and also occupying booths
on Union Square, there will be 4 additional food vendors with pizza, chicken sandwiches,
ice cream and carnival snacks including cotton candy, peanuts and popcorn.
This event has always attracted families with young children who may want to attend
the first couple of hours and then leave after dark.
Several of the stores stay open during Hickory Alive and
all of the restaurants will be open.
You're invited to bring a lawn chair (if you wish),
enjoy a nice evening of music and friendships, shop, relax and ENJOY!
