About
Downtown Hickory
This page was last updated: August 14, 2007
Unframed print (limited edition of 50) and blank notecards,
by Hickory artist, Dottie McHugh
available at -julia rush- Fine Crafts on Union Square
Thanks to the City of Hickory, as of May 4 we have a new (trial) bench on
Union Square.  A great place to eat your lunch, read a book or just soak up some sun.  (The old wood benches left you
with a splinter "here or there".)
Anthony Miller (left) and Ernest Winters proudly installed the new composite benches and left out ALL of the splinters!
If this one works, the City will replace
the other (splintery) benches
that are around downtown Hickory.  Thanks to the City and to
Anthony and Ernest.
FREE Downtown Hickory Postcard
Now available at several of your downtown stores.  Use them to send to your friends,
for thank you notes, for invitations to visit!
Ask your favorite merchant if they have them.
If not, contact -julia rush- Fine Crafts, 324-0409 and we'll see that they get a stack.
